Abstract

This paper describes the implementation of a Time Average CANDU diffusion model usingthe PARCS diffusion code developed at the University of Michigan. A brief description of the theoretical background for the model is provided, and the steps taken to produce burnup dependent fuel cross sections, incremental control rod cross sections and the PARCS diffusion model are provided. Finally, results obtained using the Time Average Model are shown.
