Abstract

The objective of this paper is a comparison, of a number of heat-transfer correlations based on forced-convection data obtained in supercritical refrigerants: R-22 and R-134a. This paper is also intended to act as a collection of both heat-transfer correlations and sources of the experimental refrigerant data in order to be a reference for future research. Results of this paper show that the most accurate correlations are by Cheng et al. [1]and Watts and Chou[2], when predicting forced-convection data obtained in R-22 and R-134a.
