Operation Optimization Using Data Analytics – A Framatome Solution

Abstract

With increasing numbers of instrumented assets, connected systems and collected data in plants, the demand for data analytics solutions to efficiently store and convert data into insights for smarter and faster decision-making is rising. Framatome, as one of the leading suppliers in instrumentation and control as well as monitoring and diagnostics systems in nuclear power plants, has contributed in this area for more than 40 years. This paper will present the latest application examples and results of a modular and scalable data analytics solution using data from existing condition monitoring systems, from instrumentation and control systems, and from computerized maintenance management system. System architecture, software modules, and the data analytics capabilities for operational plant optimizations will be outlined.
