Neutronics of Materials for Small High-Temperature Reactors
Main Article Content
Abstract
It is presented that well optimized, easy to perform measurements of radioactivities induced by neutron activation at low power research reactors can serve to assess the transmutations at generic nuclear power reactors operating at arbitrary powers and extended time periods. We illustrate this aspect with the results from gamma spectrum measurements of SS304 alloy irradiated at the Saskatchewan Research Council SLOWPOKE-2 reactor.
